Katy Perry, Drake, and Pharrell have all taken to their social media accounts to post about "their" new Apple Watches. But something appears strange... all three celebs have the same high-end model, with the same Mickey Mouse dial option. Could their preferences be randomly identical? No way in hell. Not likely.

Clearly, the practicality of the wrist tablet is not there yet, and early indications are that neither is "the cool factor." It seems that Apple thinks it might be time for a bit of good ol viral marketing with some under the radar celebrity endorsements.

Apple partnering with celebrities to push a product would not be entirely surprising... but it probably could have been done better...
