1956 Longines Conquest alongside Swedish advertisement for same. Entirely original save the mainspring and hairspring; the hands are original but have been restored. Green croc strap by C-F, generic deployant. Essential. Let's see the Longines in your collections, folks . . . cordially, Art

I consider the vintage Conquests to be outstanding, underrated, and (still) undervalued relative to their "high-end" counterparts.

. . . your sample white gold? I ask because the hands on mine were corroded and had to be restored (they're now rhodium plated to mitigate further degradation). My uncle had an identical steel model with rose gold hands and markers, so it's possible Longines produced variations on a theme . . . cordially, Art

I suspect that they are white gold, as the markers (in particular) have a tonal quality that I do not associate with steel.
