hi Nico, my main collection line is still on vintage Omega and modern JLC, and hopefully to get one or two vintage JLCs.
these two vintage Longines watches were collected when started collecting, don't know much and did not have a collection theme for myself, just collected as long as it looks nice to me.
now know what are my love better, eventually will sell some of them and keep those i really love.

There is always a selection to make when building a collection.
Taste changes, too.
So selling for upgrading is necessary.

my only current Longines is very very vintage
the movement, dial, hands etc are circa 1890, but the case is modern
and just a couple of my previous Longines. again very vintage.

...the photo of your Longines. I love mine, and wear it often. I think Longines has done well with their historic reissues of classic pieces like the Conquest, Weems, and my favorite -- their 42mm dive watch, which Longines call the Legend Diver in their catalog. Here's a photo of mine below.
