Indonesia's navy and several others are racing to find the Submarine KRI Nanggala-402 after it disappeared.
It is estimated that the crew of 53 have just 72 hours of air remaining.
Please join with me in saying a prayer for the crew and showing your Submariners and dive watches in solidarity.

Hoping for the best. Maybe an outcome like the cook on the Nigerian tug that sank.
What astounds me in the crushing weight of the water. This sub is 57m in length. I have read on some sites that the water is 50m - 100m deep. The Kursk was over a 100m in length and it was said that if it was turned on it’s bow, it would have stuck out of the water.
Of course you can’t just pick up a Submarine and balance it to stand upright. But it just gives you scale. So close yet so far. Of course as a recreational diver I know 150m is really the realm of saturation diving. I haven’t been deeper than 140 feet. We are talking 300 feet here.
