Im glad it was just someone elses watch he was wearing. Phew!Haha.
Roger has always supported the British watch industry
so I guess wearing something almost British was only to be expected. I would love it though if he spent a bit of money on a Charles Frodsham double impulse wristwatch or perhaps wear a Daniels!
I think this is a case of mistaken identity!
Even buying one RW Smith necessitates me to sell my London flat! 
He seems to wear much more humble pieces
Often he is seen wearing his Rolex Explorer 1 in pictures from his workshop. I believe when he was awarded with a medal by the queen he had to borrow one of his own watches from a client since he doesn’t own one himself. It’s a good thing you are supporting him Sham. This world needs to keep these rare craft alive. The world would be so much poorer if their skills where forgotten.
After having lived in the UK for 36 years
I thought it was only right that my retirement and farewell gift to myself should come from the country I had spent most of my life in. I am just fortunate that the UK has one of the best watchmakers in the world.
I think you can’t go wrong with this idea, Sham
First of all it’s one of the finest watches you can buy. Second, should you regret it, it would not be too difficult to sell.
