The Everest, of course, is being somewhat cannibalized. Not sure how I would feel if I owned one. BUT. I love that these are Ti. I love the textured Everest-like dials and detail. The AM/PM is hokey and silly, and always was, yet--why is it so perfect and so appealing on THIS watch? I do not know. The big GMT arrow hand, I usually do not love. On this model, in this configuration, this composition, I love it all. I like the titanium-effect they added to the metal of the movement. It's all very cool. Thanks for adding this for us to enjoy, AuHavrePro. Cheers.
I couldn't agree more with everything you pointed out!

It's precisely the unique combination of all these disparate elements that, in these particular Overseas, come together so brilliantly cohesively aesthetically-speaking.... The raison d'etre for the AM/PM indicator on the Overseas is that the main numerical track isn't graduated for hours, but for minutes, thus the need to know wherher it's daytime or nighttime.... Cheers!
The Everest will still remain a "if you know, you know" kind of watch. And collectors who know will be happy to pay for it. Similar to how the 2500V won't have any impact on the 2000V although I have to admit visually. material wise and mechanically, those two are more different than Cardinal Points and Everest.
