Welcome to our site! Glad you were able to find a 5212A to add to your collection. I really like the case of this watch. A lot of people put on an inexpensive "Shinola" brand steel bracelet on this watch to change the look!

I was able to get a free strap from a 5172G (navy) can´t wait to swap straps but will wait until my stainless steel deployant clasp from the 5935A arrives until I switch.

I ordered the strap from 5316/50P for mine, let’s see how it will look. Also ordered a sand colored Alcantara which frankly didn’t look very good. For the summer also ordered a dark blue, a green and a clear grey nylon strap, I couldn’t trust their pins so didn’t use them but during summer certainly will.

only a bit more sportier.
By the way I tried the green nylon strap for you, I couldn’t get a nice photo like yours, yours could be the best 5212 photo in the internet. The strap looks shiner in the photos, in real life it’s more subdued

It’s actually a two piece nylon strap. Now I’m waiting to go to Paris to the Patek Salon, as I learned there are much more strap choices that one can order like canvas etc in a Patek Salon that the AD’s don’t have access to.

Today i was very lucky, something very special came in today. A customer who just wanted to get his bracelet sized showed up with an incredible piece, so I had to ask for a quick wristshot -> check the AP thread

A superb* watch, of course. (Perhaps a less successful eulogy, however: silent companions don't tick, for example.) *That said, is the strap original? The points of the ends of the case lugs look quite high.

yes Original ! maybe the watch itself slipped a bit up on my wrist tilting down the leather strap at 12 completely gives off that look

It looks great! One of the fun things with the 5212A is how great it looks with different straps, definitely consider adding some additional colored ones in the future.
