I had a 997.2 GT3 too which came only with a manual gear box.

The clutch was something else, really tough to operate. The 991 and 992 cars are so easy to drive compared to older GT3 versions. And the new double wishbone suspension used on the front of the 992 is a game changer. Itβs so much more direct and dynamic, even compared to the 991.2 GT3 RS I owned.
The double wishbone came much too late if you ask me. Should've come decades ago. And I much prefer PDK over a manual gearbox. But that's just me, and I bet most purists don't agree with me on that one and probably still prefer the manual. But with a manual, it does take more time, more effort, more chances for a mistake, and the PDK is just so darn good. A few members would find it strange for me to say or type this, but I would probably want a 911 GT3 (without a big wing, so probably a Touring version) with a PDK. The other problem is that these GT3s have gotten sooo expensive. They're amazing cars, but they're getting really close to Lamborghini Huracan price territory in the USA at least. Still, the current GT3 is the most amazing sports car from the 911 range ever. If I were to get a 911 today, that'd be my first choice!
beautiful 5990. 997 is raw and fun. 991 is well not as fun as 997 and should not be put in the same sentence as 992. 992GT3 is simply incredible. dare I say I have not touched my 997 4.0 much since he arrival of 992GT3
Well the car looks amazing just from the little accent we can see on the steering wheel and the door stitching! But your companion must also feel pretty darn good on the wrist!

The GT3 Touring has got the only engine sound that I like in a Porsche. The latest Touring is a very, very good looking 911 and also the best looking 992.
