The dial of the 5196P is the epitome of a dress watch and hence it should be paired with a black or dark blue strap. The tan strap although intended to give the watch a more casual work does not suit this particular watch in my opinion.
Not bad, but
personally, I would prefer a darker brown, possibly even together with a suede strap.

However, in all honesty, any fine leather strap in any colour/texture, will suit this Calatrava!
This would not be my first choice for this one but then again it does look nice with almost everything! Cheers
I like it on this strap, definitely a legitimate choice -- it relaxes this very classy reference and adds to its versatility! ;-)
