Did you ever take/share any pics of the interior??  When I think Cadillac, there’s a certain level of luxury and comfort I expect.  So I’m curious what they do for this type of model with its clear character of sporty luxury.

The cabin is quite nice. Most of all, the seats, steering wheel, and driver display. The 2025 model has adopted the 33" wide screen. While it shows more information, I am really not a fan. I'll take the "dated" recessed gauges and conventional design.  The semi-aniline leather seats are just the right amount of comfortable and supportive for track use. They also massage which is nice on longer drives. I would be wrong to say the car is a Jekyll and Hyde... it is really full time Hyde   But in "Tour" mode, the car dials back the suspension and other sport attributes, and offers a ride quite worthy of the nameplate. The Magnetic Ride Control dampers are nothing short of amazing.

I wonder what crazy engine is under the bonnet .. or should I say 'under the hood' ?

It is a supercharged V8, producing 668 HP and 659 FT-LBs. The torque is intoxicating. Best of all, it is controlled with a 6 speed manual transmission.

I remember driving the 476 hp (I guess it had over 500) 2004 AMG E55 of my friend. That already felt way too much, at least on our roads.
But another 150 hp and loads of torque extra must be insane ... but fun anyway .

I posted below, Cadillac has some fantastic layered traction technologies that allow the driver to peel off assistance as desired. And you really can discern a difference as you access the next step. Original owners of the car are offered a free 2 day driving school in Nevada where you get to test all of these things on a track. It is really, really amazing to get the car in that environment. You can't possible appreciate it on regular roads, in terms of what the real capabilities are.

And a very useful investment to not the relationship with the car 👏🏻

I think the main point with a car like this is the ability to restrain yourself .. on public roads.
In the end it all depends on the 'chauffeur' ... I already get in trouble driving my 85 hp Peugeot 205, the 200+ hp Clio is 27times too fast for our Flemish roads and I won't even mention the 280 hp Megane.
Now I wonder how many tickets I will get with my 1993 60 hp Ducati :-(

The instructors are experts. It's amazing how they lead you around the track and watch you in their rear view. They tell you to drive as fast as you can, and if you catch them, you will he the first one to do so!

Make sure that On Star isn’t ratting you out to your insurance company. 

I think there were many lawsuit threats and supposedly they are not sharing the data anymore. There is a setting in the car to disable, which of course defaults to on after any over the air update. Ridiculous!

Someone should be held accountable, but it isn’t going to happen.
