True, they're mightily powerful today, but I enjoy the comfort-first philosophy. Superbike-like acceleration times don't mean much to me on road trips or local drives, but Bentley's focus on interior warmth, charm, and traditional materials is a kind of luxury that I can embrace. AMG, BMW M, and Audi Sport can give you 600hp, too, but even with German influences, the Bentley is the better place to spend time. Even the Continentals and Spurs still feel driven by British interior philosophies. I like Astons for the same reason; gratifying at legal speeds.

Couldn’t of said it better...Bentley’s are the total package... every time I sit in mine and I get a whiff of the Bentley leather you know that your in something special. The new Bentayga will blow you mind, I have never been in an SUV that puts together a package like that... really needs to be driven to be fully appreciated.

I almost bought a car with white leather but everyone I consulted said it would be ruined by blue jeans. Is that true? (Also I have a pack of kids that ruin everything so...)

Based on my experience if the car has quality leather any of the dye from the jeans will be easily cleaned off. I had both dark and light interiors and especially if the jeans are new they will leave the scuff marks no matter what the color but a good leather cleaner and conditioner will fix that no problem. Get what your heart desires if you want light leather get it...don’t sweat the details.

It was the most comfortable fun car I ever owned. I see another in my future.

I’m not sold on the new Continental GT saw it a my local dealer interior as always a ten but the exterior I’ll stick with mine 2015 v8s

I agree the new interior is a 10, my only exterior objection is the taillight shape.

I am a big fan of the current GT, I do miss my GT Speed.

I'd take it over the Speed and the W12.  

V8s with the sports pack very rare ceramic brakes, sports exhaust and a custom interior I love it...

They're good cars. Do you keep them? Or do you change every few years?

The V8S is just the best Bentley I've ever driven. Period. I had a V8 Flying Spur, W12 Coupe, among others as a company car and the V8S stood out as the best "handling" and driving car of all of them.
Have you tried the RR Wraith? That's my favorite car of all time! If you haven't driven it, give it a try. You'll find the braking performance a bit to be desired, it really needs a carbon ceramic braking system and a pad that bites more. Maybe a bigger pad and rotor at the very least if not a carbon ceramic braking system. But otherwise, it's a fantastic machine.

I have never driven the rolls wraith, I have sat in them at the dealer and I agree with you what a beautiful car...and it’s funny you mention the brakes I always find it comical that these large high horsepower cars from brands that charge astonishing prices seem to forget that these vehicles need at the very least larger rotors or full ceramic brakes... plus it just makes the cars wheel pop when they have large rotors behind the rims. Maybe one day.... at least Bentley gives you the option.
