...and I do like those watches, but I am not necessarily a chrono connoisseur like many of you. The WWII-era military timepieces from Longines, then classic dress watches from the '50s and '60s, and of course the compressor-cased divers are really the wat...

I don't think many other members (none that I can think of, at least), work in the same office with a fellow Purist. We can talk watches, and swap timepieces to check out the other's watch on-the-wrist, etc. It's nice to work alongside a kindred spirit! :...

I think the most obvious for me could be a vintage diver: Eberhard Scafograf 200, 1961 But my latest arrival could fit the bill as well in the future: Eberhard Contodat, first chronograph ever with a date 1957, with just a touch of red! Look at these long...

Mike I must say it is good to see Jaquet Droz represented here, and as your "Trademark" watch also lends further credibility. For me, it is plainly obvious. The watches bought to celebrate losing a boardroom battle in which I also lost my job. For your gu...  

I think that "best practice" also means "best revenue" in the long run but not at "any cost" any cost is always very expensive and in the end it eats up all the revenue, a kind of stupid short term view. Unfortunately there are many imbeciles at the helms... 

I hear you Francois from DU. Unfortunately very often large Global firms are blinded by the sheer numbers in China, so many are willing to do what it takes to get a foothold even if this compromises integrity. But as one of my mentors used to say, reputat...
