this is warm and rich in tone, but last weeks outside shot was a bit blingy. i could imagine wearing that lovely watch this week although as soon as i went outside it would bling up. best Graham
Hi Patrice I couldn't resist. I see you have same problem with your cheap suits too. The damn buttons open. I wish I had the other kind. It is like with wine. One time this waiter thought he was smarter than me and brought a really old bottle of wine. I s...
lucky man Blomman, I have yet to see "the trilogy in the safe", only read about it. Anyway, way out of my income class anyway Cheers Hans This message has been edited by hans_jorgen_1968 on 2010-05-28 04:52:38
And yes, I was very lucky to see a lot of stunning watches Unfortunately – the Three and the safe is way out of my league as well. But it was great to have the chance to see them in the metal! Best Blomman
My wristshoot of the day... little bit as an artist, but in Denmark the saying is: "You need 6 every day....!" Meaning not the naughty (though that could.....) but 6 pieces of fruit every day to stay healthy... here are my 1(2) pieces The picture is taken...
So, you at " La Grande Maison "? Lucky Guy! As I can see, you know how to travel in good company, my friend. Have fun, and come back safe. Best, Nicolas
Yes, I feel like the luckiest guy on earth right now Had a blast! Saw a lot of stunning watches But now my wish list is longer than ever… Report will follow. Best, my friend Blomman
This time I was more prepared on what I was about to see, so this time I had a better chance to take it all in, but I still haven’t really “landed” yet Yes I visited the design team, and I saw some sketches of the future… But out of respect for the manufa...
No, in fact, I think I just ended with the Vintage Rolex GMTs... My Quattuor will be difficult to beat, excpet with a 6542, but its fragile bezel worries me a lot. Best, Nicolas
The watch looks so different that I have a good reason to get it. Yes, this dial is really original, the round circles are non matching with the triangle and the rectangles. This is really impressive. I just have to calm down with the GMTs, or I will end ...
very nice uneven patina, can't believe it, but it actually is evenly distributed over the dial. very nicely look watch! by the way, Nico, you are sure this your "last" addition to this line...LOL. stefan
I have so many themas to end, that I really hope this will be my last catch in this line. I'm still hesitating a lot to get THE Rolex GMT, the mother of all GMTs, the Ref 6542. Its fragile and unfindable bakelite bezel worries me a lot. So, it seems that ...
i may be the master of the fifty quid watches, but your the king of quality my friend. one day i intend to get a '64 submariner, but a lot of issues to sort out before i buy anymore watches. best and 'hope' to see you soon Graham
What I like about the JLC Amvox 2, is that it does not have 2 extra pushers, and what I like more it is somehow intuitive and fast to operate when needed. What I dislike about it... well, truly, NOTHING ;-)...
its typical that when i havent got 2 euro's to rub together there is my favourite model, the black Ti, available on CM. when i had the money to buy one a couple of years ago i couldnt find one. such is life. best Graham
. . . perpetual calendar, which has seen one full service (and one partial, for regulation only) under warranty, and now two full services out of warranty. The previous service was in 2007, but unfortunately it was used sparingly afterwards, so this lates...
i'm very interested in trying the rectangular shape for wearability and how it looks on me. actually thats just an excuse to wear a great watch best Graham
Thomas, this one is for you. It was a true pleasure to meet you recently, and wearing this watch encapsulates everything I love about this hobby, and the experience of the meal we shared. Thank you....
Thomas has great taste, the only problem is that he's contagious! Nice choice, my friend. Real class! Enjoy, my friend. Nicolas This message has been edited by amanico on 2010-05-28 11:03:17
