Given that sports watches are the flavor of the decade (and possibly longer) - thanks @Captain for pointing this out - let’s see some of your favorite pieces. Whether the shots involve sports or not very much depends on you.

. . . will never get to do what it's designed for. No never swims, much less dives. Bad memories, and all that.
Funny you mention David Hasselhoff. I sat next to him and his wife at a Stones concert . . .
. . . in Vegas. Seemed like a regular guy; left during Keith Richard's two-song set in the middle of the show to get a couple of beers.
Didn't strike up a conversation, though.

I guess Speedies could be considered sports watches in a broader sense . . .
. . . but they're more akin to tool watches in my perspective, Abel. That's why I left them out.
In the distant past there was an Overseas . . .
. . . in my collection. I would consider that to be a sports watch.

. . . yes, the Great White - a gift from a friend, recently received, and currently at my watchmaker's for its first service. It's not NOS, but close; my friend wore it only a few times since acquiring it twenty years ago.

That´s a beautiful gift dear Art. Very nice! It has the added value of being a present from a good friend. That makes it priceless.
Past year I also received a beautiful watch as a present from a good friend. That was a Chronoscope (previous model) from his own collection which he wore just a very few times.
Another priceless watch in my collection.

It's a sad story, K. The Overseas was a prize won in a contest . . .
. . . put on by Westime in conjunction with The Purists. Unfortunately the photos that accompanied the original threads posted November 19th, '04 have disappeared; the threads can be found by entering my name in the search engine of the VC forum.
Several months later, I gave the VD to my Dad. I never saw him as happy as that very moment. Then, some time later, he returned the Overseas, saying it was too good a watch for him, and that he could never wear it.
I suppose he thought he was doing me a kindness, but the rejection was bittersweet at best. Roughly a year later, I let Thomas broker the Overseas, and used the funds to underwrite a GO perpetual calendar.
Both are now gone.
