First, let me tell how I feel honored to be part of this week jury. Furthermore, I’d like to thank our host for such a great and inspiring theme.
Below is my selection - please accept my deepest apologies as I have a soft spot for vintage watches, hence my choices. But who said I should have been impartial ?
Here we go:
Third place goes to Mr Zagreb1 and his 2777-1 Broad Arrow Omega 53...
... a very interesting dial and a great aviation related piece of watch. Goes well with the cockpit too.
Second place, Bill and his breathtaking 1675 aka "the Concorde"
Stunning condition, astonishing watch. Wow !
And finally, this week winner, late entry, but not the least, HS111 and his wonderful Bréguet type XX
I will definitely check the history behind yours Mr HS111. Such a desirable watch !!!
May I had an honorable mention category ? Mr Cazalea and his A13 military 8-day cockpit clock
... a picture that made me smile... and loved the family connection too
It has been an hard work to select only 4 pictures amongst such an amazing selection, but I had great fun to do it.
Thank you dear Purists, and wish you all an excellent Sunday.
Fred
