Hi. After years of searching for a dress watch that I liked, I finally decided on the Breguet 7147, which I received yesterday and bought at a famous Spanish jewelry store.

This is on the AD. Either mishandling, misrepresenting or not inspecting arriving inventory.
Not on the Manufacturer

This flaw should have been noticed before the watch is handed over to you. The dent is too deep to polish off, they should probably take the watch back give you a refund or provide an exchange.

Clearly something happen to that watch, maybe someone at the retailer damaged it at some point.

It is a beautiful dial. I hope you have this addressed by AD with a good outcome.

Return it to retailer immediately. This is on them. Clearly. Never leave Breguet manufacture like that. Get what you paid for. Don’t take “no” for an answer. Social media is powerful. They don’t want a bad image.

“Repaired” watch! You bought and paid for a new watch. Not one that has to be refinished.

If the watch was sold as new, it’s unacceptable of course.

if it's me, I ask for a refund and run as fast as I can away from this AD. very unprofessional to hand over a watch to a customer in this condition, to say the least.

Give them at least the chance to do something
- a new watch
- a refund
- a big discount
This is something the AD and client have to work out
But there is imo no reason to run….. just as the client didn’t notice it while buying it, maybe the AD didn’t notice either.
Give them at least the chance to offer a solution

a high end purchasing experience. the fact that they didn't even notice the dent tells me a lot about how they run their operations. u still have confidence in whatever they are going to hand u next?

but it was under a “plastic” so it was impossible to notice those dents. I can’t blame nobody for sure and, in heart,  I don’t mind who is “guilty”. I only hope a fair end to this situation. 😀😀

I hope they don’t blame delivery. Were they in the pictures you saw of the watch ? I’m guessing no but maybe they didn’t share that angle. Maybe a message to the AD and breguet corporate so they know or can intervene if needed. 

that I didn’t ask to remove. I didn’t notice the dents. I paid the watch with a bank transfer and it was sent to me by a transport company a couple of days later (when they received the money). I had tried the watch in Madrid the last weekend during a short family holidays. I live far away from Madrid (no Breguet AD where I live).

These don't strike me as tiny marks only visible at crazy magnification. A luxury new watch should not have it. When buying used, it's a different story.
