Thanks, Justin! I'm working on teaching them how to analyze risks versus rewards for each move into the future as far as they can go.
Strong parallels with life. Although often they just roll their eyes at me and tell me "it's your move, dad!" 😊

Yes, both my older girls regularly get their way at chess
I start each girl off with me getting two minutes and them with 'unlimited time' (generally 2 hours, which is forever for them 
. When they start beating me regularly, I proclaim Dad's Prerogative to add another minute to give me a chance! This daughter has me at five minutes.
