Here you go...quick pics on the fly. I agree that the color schema may not be as attractive as the new versions, but this one works for me, especially as a daily beater. The hour hand reaches to the indices better than the 41.5 version, and raised date window balances against the indices, although the shadow cast on the date itself can make it a little more difficult to read depending on the angle.

. . . works best for me as well. These images were taken over three years ago in the Omega boutique. Might well have bought one then had I not just acquired the El Primero months earlier. Hard pressed to think of another watch that fits the 'daily beater'...

. . . and the answer is 'no'. The good news is that the 38.5 mm mid-size version of the AT annual calendar . . . . . . is still in current production. Well worth taking a look at next time you're in an Omega boutique. :-) ...
