There’s a ring on the back that holds the strap in place, so technically not removing the entire case back. I will post pictures over the next 2 days to show this. It’s actually a really nifty solution, but means one can’t use regular straps
Very nice! I have a NOS blue leather strap & buckle in the post - I will then be stuck for choice :-)
The white & green are OEM, the blue, tan & black shown here are aftermarket. ps - I will need to get that tool. Presently use a chock of wood on 1 of the indentations to screw on/off - puts pressure on 1 side a bit so need to be careful, bot no scratches ...
There's a red dial version out there with my name on it! ;-)

The hunt continues! Its on a list of 4 or 5 watches - so when something nice/interesting pops up that's one gets dropped off list. The Memomatic was on the list for a while before I landed one. The hunt is very much a large part of the fun. Cheers JML
