Bank and kick shots are commonly played . . .
. . . in pool . . . . . . but in snooker, not so much. Snooker usually lends to defensive play rather than risky offense. A snooker player might attempt an obtuse angle bank shot like the one I made into a side pocket, but would never try the two-rail kic...

I played a game with Shaun . . .
. . . that was probably the easiest of the tournament for him. I didn't score a point. ;-)

Can you tell us more ie. Did he “run” the table? Did he leave you with no shots?
No, he didn't run the table - I had four opportunities . . .
. . . to make a red but failed each time. One went into a corner pocket but rattled out. Once he cleared the reds I said "Let's call it a game, Shaun," and we shook hands.
Was it ever! . . .
. . . just getting to see Shaun perform up close and have brief conversations with him was worth far more than the price of admission.
