Hi fellow purists,                                I have a Gen 1 X33 and the analog parts (hours & minutes) have stopped working. I know the standard action would be to send it in to Swatch or AD. But would just like to find out if anyone has similar expe... 

HI Patrick I have always liked the X-33 and over the years have handled about 15 of them... I have never seen the analog display stop... I have seen the LCD display fade out and need to be replaced. Good Hunting Bill Sohne

Hi Patrick, Do the hands move at all - have you tried 'forcing' them via the hand synch function? Battery OK? It wasn't doing the 'jumping second hand' thing before stopping ? These things supposedly have a reputation for draining batteries. I'd change th... 

It's only the hours and minutes hands that are not working. the second hand is still moving. The watch was on low batt and did the 5 secs interval sequence. I have just change the batt and that's when the problem started I guess. From what I hear, it soun... 

...The 1666 has separate rotors/stators for the Second hand and for the Hour/minute hands.... So sounds like something's up with the Hour/Minute side...could be mechanical (doubtful) or electronic...trying that synch hand thing might help. Other than that...  

I'd be installing fresh batteries all the way around first and then taking them out and reinstalling them if it didn't work. These are essentially small computers and rebooting can often solve a lot of problems In cars, a low battery can cause all kinds o...

I have tried the hand synch after the battery change and it's at that point that I found out the minutes/hour hands were not working as they did not move when I pushed the buttons to set the analog hands. PAt

Took out the battery and reinserted. The Hand sync sequence did not work. Sigh.... PAt
