If it was my watch, I would have the crown replaced and the stem checked. Ideally the movement should be serviced, oils removed and replaced. You then know that is been done. Make sure that you choose your watchmaker / service carefully.

Mechanical problem can always be fixed but not the "seen" parts. Isn't the "value" drop if the cosmetic parts no longer original even faded. Thanks for chip in, for this one, have decided to skip it after talked to my watchmaker.
