So many variables in the equation that being able to see your thought process really clarifies things.
I, too have had Seamasters for about the same time, but only started buying newer watches relatively recently.
After buying a Speedmaster a couple-three years back, the PO was the next new Omega. Have also had it now for about a year.
The heaviest watch I have ever owned, and though it gets a lot of wrist time, I don't know if I'd get an additional heavy large diver (or swap it out for another).
Price was good enough so that I never feel the need to baby it.

the PO is a real knockaround true everyday watch that you can really 'live in', as nice as it is. The GO SE is a fancy watch, extremely bulky and heavy and THICK, more on the art-side than the sport side, and a tank of a watch--amazing detail and quality ...

I won't disagree with your characterization of the GO SE as "art" and how you treat it. But I've owned and worn both watches, for an extended period of time. I can tell you, unequivocally, that the PO outweighs the GO and, due to its 45 mm case, is bigger...
Do you still own them both?
Curious because you use the past tense. How much rotation did they get? I've found myself attracted to a watch, spent the money, and then discovered that I liked the idea of owning it more than wearing it.
