… and interesting info about film and podcasts Jay!
I can well understand you. I was 20 years old in July 1969 and as most people received those images and news in newspapers and TV with awe and admiration. It was an engineering miracle and a mix of science and something we have only been reading in fiction books for many years.
Guess the impact in common citizens around the world was similar though of course some people thought that it never happened and all was staged.
I personally had the feeling that I was viewing a piece of History which I would be able to tell my children and grandchildren some day.
Thank you for joining the celebration Jay!
Best cordial regards
Abel

. . . (aside from a NASA-issued 105.012, of course!) would be the A.C.P. This example . . . . . . was posted by Anotol a few years back. Why the A.C.P.? Because the dial was made especially for a private group of auto enthusiasts in Peru. Our So Cal alpha...
The ACP marked are truly scarce and coveted pieces indeed…

… dear Art! That would be a great choice indeed. Of course I would also love to own a NASA issued example. But I feel it would be an out of my reach financial possibility and probably an invitation to an FBI visit! Lol! Cheers! Abel
If memory serves correct, there were only fifty made . . .

. . . and there's an owner's registry with a confirmed population well short of that number. Our HSTE has an A.C.P., and Anotol owned one in the past. A few years ago, a tattered A.C.P. was offered on eBay. The seller was in Peru, and if my memory is to b...

I don’t know the policy of Omega to accept or refuse an order for an special marking on dial. May be it requires a large order or perhaps they don’t accept that at all.
These are really beautiful watches.

I can’t but love the Speedmaster, in almost all it’s iterations. I just watched last night a Netflix documentary called Mission Control which focused on the ground crew for the various space programs of that era. It’s good viewing if you have access to it...
