Seamaster 300 CK2913 Military
Hello everyone,
First of all as this is to be my first post here let me introduce myself,
I'm an English collector, living in The Netherlands.
I've been collecting for about 8 or 9 years and have a particular interest in Omega wristwatches 1940-1970's. I also have a little sideline going in Omega desk/table/travel clocks 1900-1950's.
I have recently received an Extract of the Archives from Omega for a Seamaster 300 ref. CK2913-2, interestingly it states that this is a "Military Divers Watch" delivered to the US Air Force and produced in May 1960.
The Seamaster 300 does have Military connections. As many of you probably know the British Special Services issued the 300 to some of their members, but as far as I know this was only the much later ref. 165.024.
I have never before seen/heard/read about a CK2913 with military provenance, I have also done extensive googling but this turns up nothing.
Can anybody here shed any expert light on this military mystery?
Thanks Chris

But I heard about a CK 2913 Fuerza Aerea del Peru, and somewhere, I read something about a CK 2913 British Royal Navy... So that doesn't amaze me that you also found one, even if it seems that it is a rare bird. Now, this is not because I read something a...

...the extract say ? Delivered to the Air Force is the sense of one of the AirBase shops , or delivered to be issued. Very interesting especially because on the Omega extract now rarely write anything other of the country of delivery and date. I suggest y...

Hello Chris Welcome to the forum.... As Erich mentioned, any CK 2013 is something special.. your 2013-2 with the early countdown bezel as apposed to the incrementing bezel. It is actually hard to make a determination of the dial condition due to the fact ...
beautiful SM 300

that is a beautiful example. The most elegant vintage diver with the thin bezel IMHO. The hands are different though, not only filled, it is a different set, this one had the big lollipop second hand! thanks for sharing Matt
Lollipop is not a constant

The hands are correct IMHO, although they do look extraordinarily new. They could have been polished very well - they should be looked at x80 and checked for residual micro spots of rust. Not all the 2913s had lollipop second hand. From Steve Waddington's...
