Hi cristos, It is a rare bird anyway as you have an early original example as far I can judge from the pics. Are there any military markings on the case back or inside? kind regards Erich

Hi Erich, No, there are no additional serial numbers on the inside or outside of the case, this is what strikes me as puzzling to begin with. Regards

Hello Chris Welcome to the forum.... As Erich mentioned, any CK 2013 is something special.. your 2013-2 with the early countdown bezel as apposed to the incrementing bezel. It is actually hard to make a determination of the dial condition due to the fact ...

Is everything original to the watch including the bezel or has the bezel been redone by Aldo in Italy?

The bezel was done by Aldo and the hands have been filled, but none of this detracts in my eyes as the work done is top notch. Regards, P.S. I also have this one for when I need an all original! ...  

Aldo does a great job - thought it might have been done since the nicks in the bezel metal were not present in the printed area. Again, a nicely done sympathetic restoration to a classic diver's watch.

that is a beautiful example. The most elegant vintage diver with the thin bezel IMHO. The hands are different though, not only filled, it is a different set, this one had the big lollipop second hand! thanks for sharing Matt

The hands are correct IMHO, although they do look extraordinarily new. They could have been polished very well - they should be looked at x80 and checked for residual micro spots of rust. Not all the 2913s had lollipop second hand. From Steve Waddington's...  

I would say probably less than 10% of these watches featured the lollipop hand from the factory.

Interesting topic! Unfortunatly I am a absolute newbie on Omega, so I can't give you any info... But, both your SM300 looks great! Here is mine welcoming yours. Note: mine is also ref 2913-7 with the lollipop. Best Blomman ...

i love my Omega's and my seamaster/speedmaster in particular. i did have 3, but all later than yours as i collect from 1964. i now only have 2 as the refurbed one got passed onto someone else. i would hazard a guess that this watch was intended for issue ...
