Thanks for giving us all the details. The guarantee booklets usually have numbers perforated on the front page indicating the country of sale. I could not see this one. Just curious. Thanks Bill

But not all have the country codes. So blank booklets are good also. Bill

The watch was purchased on January 11, 1971 and I always imagined the first owner negotiating a good price for the watch that the jeweller had in his inventory for some time. How much discount would you expect from the $125 list price? Andrew

Having such a complete set is so cool. I have a very similar Constellation I bought around 2001 which came with nothing else. Strangely, although it looks the same the reference number is completely different from yours: 14900-SC-16 (which I got from the ...  

... simply the predecessor of my 167.005 case. The transition happened around 1962 - 63. It should still have the same cal. 551 automatic. The serial number, if you can get the case open, will tell you which year your watch is from. They make excellent da... 

i think we would be very lucky to get one for $1k now especially with all the box and papers. its very good to think that there are only 5 miles between us yet we have the same taste in quality Omegas. my piepan says hello. ...  

when i saw the watch and the name Andrew, i immediately tnought of my nearly neighbour Aroma who has an identical model so i replied without paying too much attention to the user id. all comments remain the same except that you dont live 5 miles away, mor...

Well, the Connie is a fantastic watch, simply on it's own merits. But to have all the documentation, even down to the receipt and price tag, and all of the orignal boxes, is as good as it gets. While I love my three vintage watches, I am still scrambling ...
