Omega

Decided to have a little fun with a nice 18k pink gold Omega Tresor from about 1959. This is what it looked like before. Then I managed to pick up one of the nice Watchco dials and voila! This dial is striking. I like the transformation and think I will k...  

.... immediately identifies the dial as a replacement. It is striking but please keep the old one to reconstitute the piece in a future.

... is that your dial and hands are original and are in unusually good condition for their age. The logo looks right for the era (1940's). Omega paired pink gold with steel quite often back then. My guess is that your watch is a US market only model. Swis...

I think while Purists rightfully would want the original dial, this modern dial in this case makes it a far more attractive watch - this is after all one of those 1994 Homage piece dials that in original form was available only in Japan. I think the value...
