plus the story behind it for me is making it even more dear (wanted to buy it for 10+ years; never prioritized; found it new at Omega three years ago; I passed it and regretted it badly; then out of the blue, I found it new at Omega/Tourbillon Boutique in... 

Was it a special edition? I can't find it on Omega's website. Just curious.

Very understated.

I have tried on the larger 44mm Omegas, I knew this 42 would fit like a glove. I was obviously not able to compare crystal options. I usually prefer a solid caseback, but this will be a long term keeper and I like this version.

A timeless and classic design, with all the story in connection with Nasa and Moon landing behind, in a most practical watch for every day use. I feel there is no better choice for your first or your only Omega. Though I suspect that once you have entered...
