. . . all this time, I thought precious metal was categorically excluded from your collection.
It's probably the most elegant Speedmaster . . .
. . . ever. The handsomest, imho, were the yellow gold references in production up until recently . . .
. . . but these leaned more towards the presence of the original design. The new (2015) Sedna gold model seems a touch removed from the Speedmaster gestalt; still identifiable as a Speedy, but with any expectation of utility drained.
As for the '16 CK2998: even without the benefit of actually handling one in the metal yet, it seems to my senses the best rendition yet of any Speedmaster outside the traditional mold.
