Just for the pure pleasure of sharing a few shots...
... of a recent catch!
I remember viewing this watch in the windows of watch stores in the early 1970's and thinking it was a big monster who could not compete with the grace of the Submariner design.
You know the Submariner was (is) my true deep love... but now... I became a collector!
And when I was offered this watch and I viewed the almost never worn condition of its big case I felt I couldn't let pass the opportunity of getting it for my collection of diving watches.
The watch was bought by the original owner in Grand Cayman and it seems he gave little or no use to it considering its present condition.
It is a historical piece among diving watches and I feel happy to having taken the plunge !!
