I think Watchpop...
may have been the buyer of this watch originally. It was part of his "Personal Collection" section on his website Old Watch Club for some time - usually composed of watches that are not for sale. It's a rare watch to be sure but even at half the price it fetched at omegamania, I don't think it has come close to selling this time around. Prices of vintage omegas have come down quite a bit since that auction as you all know.
