I still think it is underrated in the US market as the only people I have seen with one in person is my boss and the manager at the local boutique!
This is one of the reasons I like it so much as I don't see anyone else with one on!! The 8500 definitely has a strong Bond or Tool watch feel that I truly enjoy everytime I put it on!
Also very few members here show them...
I also have a newer Aqua Terra so i get the METAS with that one at least!!

I have the same 93/9900 conundrum....
My best friend has the 9900 with the orange bezel I have the 9300 with the black. I would be ok with the orange if there was no other option but prefer the black unless we are talking flashy orange rubber strap in full sport mode. I wear it on my boat as ...
The 8900 movement is exactly why I had to have the newer Aqua Terra, which I love but the PO still gets more wrist time..
