While trying to learn more about the Omega Seamaster 300 issued last year, I visited the Omega Website, and learned that a limited edition of 357 pices existed... In platinum. And that the blue dial was in... Enamel? The blue beast: Anyone here has some ...  

Omega states: "This Seamaster 300 has a blue enamel dial". Fancy setup (Pt etc.) for a tool watch. Cheers, Nilo

Creates some cognitive dissonance... Platinum is a great medium for high-end pieces. An enamel dial is special, but precious. But why blend the two together in a heritage tool watch? I know...$, and that's OK, but the piece in its totality is too dissonan...

I feel that watch totally compelling. I have vented criticism at Omega in the past mostly in frustration in front of what appeared to me to be a continuous lack of ambition. Not any more.... At the risk of repeating myself I feel the package of new materi... 

I still need to see this beauty in the metal... congrats on yours...

.. Parts of it you know the contents & nature ( Main part) .. For the 2nd part I should be ready in fall, AFAIK & hope for Dr Mamadu should have some special knowledge there, I guess.. .. And 3rd there has to be room for some " little" joys, one of which ...

It is a beautiful watch. The weight is so substantial and impressive. Two problems: 1) for that money there are so many interesting alternatives. 2) It's hard to pay almost 10 x the steel version with the same engine inside :) Just my 2 cents, but damn it... 

than the titanium blue. The only distraction is the limited edition writing on the dial. If they perceived it necessary it could have been more discreet. If it was priced like a gold rolex sub or gmt II, I would have bought it yesterday. It is a really co...

but I agree with you about the price being so much more while there is a similarity to other versions. You are right about questioning if it is worth.
