Both with a different character, and the chrono quite large as you say. Just curious, have you seen that version live?

Tri-metal Seamaster

 By: Cookies : September 5th, 2021-03:33
Here’s a short review of this unusual piece that pique my interest 3 years ago. I had made many calls to enquire about it, but the price was never right. And then the moment came - I was searching for a brand new Blancpain FF Bathyscaphe in titanium but i...

That’s an amazing watch, through and through.

These new seamaster offerings are amazing. I’m eyeing one that is nicknamed the dark side of the sea, but your version has the perfect mix of luxury and robustness 👌🏿 Thanks for sharing Hussam

That is an interesting piece

Thanks Hussam and have a great weekend ahead.=D

Beautiful version

First of all, thank you for the detailed review. Great insights into the watch, your wearing experience. super reading - thanks for that. I like this version, the grey-Sedna-tantalum combo. It reminds me a little of the AP RO QE version. Also the textured...

Yes Jerome

I will post more pics. Was just cutting grass today with the lawnmower and was wearing it. Yes I agree with you. This piece is surprisingly undocumented although it presents value-for-money compared to similar priced pieces. As you can see my fingers are ...

NO DATE?

 By: Jp75 : September 5th, 2021-07:26
Was looking at your picture in greater details : is that the only SMP with NO DATE? That would make it very special indeed😀

+++1!

;)

Do u like the Nekton edition? Solid caseback, no date. Sandblasted titanium bezel. Stealth piece it may be.

Another piece haunts me, lemme show u

Sandblasted titanium bezel, solid caseback, no date. This is a purist’s seamaster. Credit: Horbiter ...

I believe this piece will haunt me

 By: Cookies : September 5th, 2021-08:05
When i first saw it, my mind thought “just another special edition”. But i found myself lurking in the forums and blogs looking for more info. It isn’t just another special edition, now I know why - it has the characteristic “to simplify and make symmetri...

Go for it, if you can!

 By: amanico : September 5th, 2021-08:07

=( no more funds

 By: Cookies : September 5th, 2021-08:10
I’m waiting for the new Blancpain fifty fathoms. Rumour from AD of a new titanium version coming soon in 2 months. But even then, I may not be able to afford it. If I can sell off my Grand Seiko, ok, I can take the Nekton. But the Grand Seiko is not as in...

I’ll try to dig

 By: Cookies : September 5th, 2021-08:13
Maybe they will reveal more. All I heard is: smaller size and high grade titanium.

I am curious to see that...

 By: amanico : September 5th, 2021-09:17

Yes indeed.

 By: Cookies : September 5th, 2021-07:42
Very little tantalum on it. It is only on base of bezel, and the centrelinks of the bracelet. Would wish they made the dial with tantalum.=D

Or the case!

Tru

 By: Weems@8 : September 5th, 2021-08:19
It is a common Seamaster. Nothing wrong with that. I seen the peace on the Omega website. Yes, the popularity is some under the radar. I could go for it, it is timeless in many ways. The main reason for me to not run to the Omega boutique about your Seama...

Ah the AQ Worldtimer

 By: Cookies : September 5th, 2021-09:36
Looks stunning. I have thought about it from time to time, and also the JLC Geophysic True Seconds Worldtimer. If wishes were fishes, I’d take both.

Both are on my list

Advice: Take a look at the Montblancs.

Lets pray the economy picks up

 By: Cookies : September 5th, 2021-16:07
And to be safe and well in these hard times. Maybe Montblanc. They make good pieces. I almost took the bronze heritage piece, if not for lack of seconds hand. But I think of it sometimes.

Genuine straps are the best

 By: Cookies : September 8th, 2021-06:19
(Except for Tag Heuer strap I had for my Night Lume…very poor quality rubber. Super stiff and causes abrasion) Here I swam for 30 minutes with this. I reckon it won’t cause abrasions. ...

Pin buckle? Very nice!

 By: amanico : September 8th, 2021-06:39

Perfect strap

 By: Weems@8 : September 8th, 2021-17:40
I have the same strap, and it wear perfect. All my watches have straps that wear good. The Omega strap is the best in my collection.

Thanks brother

I see u ate a nice pizza today. I will pray for Yoko today.

Thank you kindly bro 🙏 🙏

I called the boutique yesterday . . .

 By: Dr No : September 6th, 2021-16:34
. . . to inquire the list price. And planning on visiting this Friday for some hands-on experience. If it comes to pass, Cookies, I'm blaming you.

Hehe, hope you will enjoy it too

 By: Cookies : September 6th, 2021-16:38
Out of the 10 watches I have…this piece sticks to my skin like glue. It refused to leave my wrist. It is a seamaster like no other - fusion, odd, refined and tough at the same time. It is James Bond-esque with a touch of “conflict metal” tantalum.

Thanks so much

 By: Cookies : September 7th, 2021-03:42
It is stuck to my wrist now. Cannot seem to take it off.

She's a looker for sure! I have contemplated the very piece.

 By: MichaelC : September 15th, 2021-12:40
There is also a more recent version, a chronograph I think, released with the same combination of materials. Now, how about an all tantalum model? That would be tops!

Yes an all tantalum model!

 By: Cookies : September 15th, 2021-12:51
That will be impressive. The chronograph version is quite large, but I really like the mechanism, and the function to use the chronograph pushers underwater. I was just changing straps for this piece a moment ago. It looks much better on the bracelet. ...

I'm attracted to your model and the chrono version

 By: MichaelC : September 15th, 2021-13:02
Both with a different character, and the chrono quite large as you say. Just curious, have you seen that version live?

Never seen it in the metal

 By: Cookies : September 15th, 2021-13:15
I only watched the videos on youtube many times. I thought of getting that piece instead, at some moments in time, but the size and thickness made me think again. The chrono model has the same box, without the Seamaster 25th anniversary text on the box. T...
