I've not owned but played with them.

 


My opinion is that, while both are nice, it is easier to read time on the black dial. The hours and the hands kind of stand up, especially when they catch light. But for my taste I would prefer the more sober versions of Broad Arrow or Speedmaster in general.

You need to see both dials in person before buying to be the judge of what works for you. Good luck.
