It will also accept any single pass Nato which is what I´m trying today. They make for a more fitting around the wrist looks which I like better. And it takes 2 mm less thickness in comparison with the original Nato.

Regarding dive computers:

This is the way to dive nowadays. They make for a safer dive and also allows to take more advantage of the management of your air supply and depth as well as an exact calculation.

I started sport scuba diving in the mid 1960´s and equipment was very basic compared with today. Dives were calculated with dive tables and controled with the watch and depth gauge. We had no compensating vests and few gears came with a pressure gauge to check the air supply.

The dive computer is a very important piece of equipment, together with the pressure gauge. (I´m always speaking of "Sport" diving, no professional diving)

Of course you don´t need a computer for diving in a pool or if diving within the few 30 feet of depth limit. But as soon as you progress in your diving you´ll enjoy diving deeper. I was not fond of diving very deep but I also found that most interesting views were found around the 40 through 80 feet and the computer allows to better manage your air supply to extend your underwater time with a single tank of air and stay within the limits of no decompression dives diving with compressed air. 

Nowadays sport divers can reach more depth or extend their stay U/W using other more advanced techniques and equipment and using mixed gases. 

Even using a computer I like to wear my diving watches. They are just part of me. But I can deny the importance of a good dive computer and they are not difficult to learn to use them.  I feel you shouldn´t refuse to learn and use a computer. But it is a safe matter to know how to use dive tables and a traditional depth gauge for a conventional dive planning and staying U/W. You can still dive with the computer and your traditional instruments if you wish. I like them too!

Appreciate so much your kind comments on my Country. It is a very beautiful place to visit with many different geographic settings: Large plains, mountains, rivers and lakes, sea, snow, mild climate or hot climate. A very extensive territory. People is also very cordial with tourists.

Of course it has given many well known personalities not only in sports but also in medicine, writers, philosophers, scientists, etc.. It´s a shame what politics and governments have done with this place. We are looking for a big change with much hope with the soon next Presidential elections.
