Hello dear Art! How nice that you had the opportunity of trying this BIG watch and thank you for sharing your interesting thoughts about your experience with it.

I have a similar feeling with this variant as you tell me. I like it so much its looks and finish and guess it is a plus being more light than the steel version. But the design of lugs and the use of a Nato strap is a con side of it. And it certainly is a very thick watch.
I don´t like to use Natos because my wrist is rather thin at 7" and these straps always look very bulky at each side on my wrist. Anyway I keep a few Natos in stock which I use sometimes to make a colorful picture or to wear a watch temporarily because I don´t have a proper strap or bracelet available at the moment.
Probably if I buy this watch I will look for a type of Nato with a single pass to avoid the lateral metal loops and double material over the case back of regular Natos. (Some straps sellers call them RAF Nato straps) photo below.
I look forward to view it soon in the metal and try it on my wrist. Thing is that new models arrive here with lots of delays due to the restrictions to imports (specially of luxury goods) here in my Country taking in account the deep big economic crisis we are going through. So most probably it will take some time to arrive here.
Thank you again dear Art!
Cheers! Abel
