has haunted me since it's release. I first starting 'collecting' watches in 1998, but didn't have much in the way of money then. That Speedmaster 1957 'Replica' came out in 1999 from what I recall, and I fell for it right away. So many times I've been right on the cusp of purchasing one, and it slips away for some reason. I'll still own one some day, as I love it. It's such a great look and piece, and love the more scaled back caseback design without all the Speedy Pro writing on it.

I’ve had a couple of moon watches and I’m sure I’ll get one again but this one is really something! Charcoal dial, plexi, based on the ‘57 model which was for racing-and as a car lover hits home for me-snd this is an early example with the tapered bracele...
Thanks Greg, looks like you see the entire package like I do. I think the Speedy Pro and this '57 are truly different enough to own, and enjoy, both as seperate watches.

Surgery…neuroma on the bottom of my foot-nerve damage they had to remove the damaged tissue and cut the nerve and it’s supposed to regenerate! Let’s hope it does! 😜 What caused it? Glad you asked! It was the repetitive pressure from the clutch on my 911s!...
