Good effort...
...but I think Omega is trying too hard here. My guess is that the changes from the original as noted here relate more to the engineering realities of the modern co-axial movement. I agree that a center seconds version would have looked better in this model.
Also, a few extra francs for an applied metal "Omega" would be a nice touch.

Yes. I think it's a beatiful piece as well. Have never seen an original 1948 subsecond, just the central sweep version. Hope it's not too large. PS. You can stil lfind those pics from the old Omega site here: http://www.samo-bienne.ch/en/geschichte/geschi...
