Thank you for your reply. This watch is a personal favourite. Ed White was a great guy that had “The Right Stuff”. Anyone that has visited the site of the Apollo capsule fire at Kennedy cant help but be moved.

... as it was the most popular metal band in that era. Certainly Mr. White was a very special person, and he gave his life in that heroic era of discovery and dangerous flights trying to reach the Moon. Thank you for sharing your beautiful watch Captain! ...

It has been said that Ed White could have been the first man on the moon if things had worked out differently. He certainly was an incredible person. Enjoy fitting your strap !
