Elveez,
from what i understand the date ring for
the ploprof is extremely hard to obtain if not impossible, bearing in mind it
operates in a backwards motion compared to the date ring on the same movement in
other watches, so when during servicing people required new date rings etc they
had to get a standard date ring that fitted the movement the other
way necessitating the changing around of the movement within the case. they
were never ever made as a production watch, but have occurred over time due to
this parts problem.

IMO they look just as good as the
