Dr No viewed the new Bond at the LA Omega boutique . . .
Mar 18, 2023,22:27 PM
. . . last night.

Our Captain has already taken the plunge; not sure if there are others here contemplating acquisition, but a visit to your local boutique or authorized dealer would be worth your while in my humble opinion.
The development I'm unable to show was a prototype of a Speedmaster commissioned for American special forces. I saw it briefly on the wrist of the President for Omega retail operations. It apparently was (and I could be wrong about this) based on Speedmaster 57 with a totally brushed steel case, grey NATO strap, and (Flightmaster fans, take note!) yellow and orange subdial hands. Unfortunately, they will not be released to the general public. Many years from now, maybe one or two will seep into public domain from special operators or their descendants. I probably won't be collecting then, but hope to see one in circulation eventually.
