Colleague
Today a colleague came to me to show his around 70 year old watch.
He say, it is accurate and manual winding.
As i see your Omega, than i saw the watch of my colleague.
I was guessing which brand he wear, and i can say at this moment, it is maybe an Omega.
Little, and it was almost wrist color.
The second i see today.
I recognize the small second hand.
I am happy not everybody wear a smartwatch on the company, and happy i am not the only one with great watches.
I have one annoying colleague, who do not wear a watch, because he do not want to be a slave of time.
When my colleague show his vintage watch, i had think about watches when working, and i think not all the time about watches, so i was thinking again.
When i saw that watch, it was great. Around 70 years old, i made a count mistake and thought he have a watch from the interbellum 1934. 1934! Crazy.
Certainly ghostly and almost scary!
Refinish a dial?! Perish the thought, sham! . . .

Wow!!
It's one of the better performers in my vintage Omega collection, losing about three seconds . . .
That is world class Art!

What kinda shape is the movement usually in when the dial deteriorated like that?
After servicing by my watchmaker, ~ -3 seconds per day. That's one of the main reasons . . .
