Black Black Seamaster
I realize everyone has an opinion about all-black or "blacked out" watches, but I miss my Hublot Ice Bang purchased in 2007 and sold several years later to make room for another watch. I've never owned an Omega and was clamoring for a different black watch that was within budget and went beyond my G-Shocks. I owned a Sinn U212 and enjoyed it, but this Omega does things with material science that was unthinkable in 2007 and most others couldn't offer at this price today. The ceramic finishing is incredible. The unique and robust movement was another plus.

You would be correct in how omega pushed the envelope (back then) on material science. Ceramic dials. Ceramic cases with different finishing. Etc etc. It’s no secret that I’m a huge omega fan. In spite of having a Sinn U50S (all black PVD), I’m pining aft...

So I’m just going to say it (IMO of course) Omega is the king of Ceramic…their ability to texture it is amazing…I own the GSOTM as well. I think (the lume on my DSOTM is minimal as well) they make a point about the lume in all black models. Enjoy my frien...
