At first glance, I am inclined to purchase it…
Will probably give away my 2500… having said that I will probably hold out to see if:
1. They come out with a date model… I know it’s not cool, but I use it a lot.
2. A ceramic case.
3. A new slimmer version of the Chrono model. The one I have is monster and I can’t wear it out for more social occasions.
So I really want to see what else they come out with, but I love the initial model. It reminds me of the SHOM which I think is BADASS..

Given it's a case in case design ceramic versions seem like a no brainer but this first release looks really good right out of the box. What color would you go with? ...

I wish they would to a Tiffany blue like they did on the special PO Chrono or it would be great if the did a fume or something… I don’t know why people are ragging on this one I actually really like it…
Yeah, I think the new case profile looks great! I would probably go orange just because it feels like part of the planet ocean line
I think the the thick movements are really holding omega back, it's like the straight lugs at breguet, so this is a great release and hopefully the beginning of more slimming.
Isn't it fascinating how so many watch designs take two steps forward, yet always take a step back at the same time ;-)
Designers can never quite get it 'just right'... probably too many focus group sessions and design by committee!

I prefer the orange, I haven't made up my mind on which strap/bracelet/color
+1, on bracelet, for me. It reminds me . . .
. . . of the first gen PO aesthetically, improved by the absence of date and helium valve. If I didn't already have an UD this PO would be a shoe-in for my collection.
After watching more videos, I'm leaning towards bracelet
I was tempted by the UD in orange/rubber. This might find a place in my collection by next summer

In the meantime I'll probably sit this one out. The clasp looks big and I wish they had use more lume, otherwise a step in the right direction.

But based on the specs, vids and pics, not for me. Love that they lost the date and HE valve. But why OH WHY did they add a crown guard when the SMP Diver already has a HE valve and crown guard and why OH WHY is it still almost 14 mm thick when it can be ...
My hunch is that height/'thickness' is necessarily related . . .
