Surprised my father yesterday with this as his birthday gift! He purchased a new boat earlier this year and I thought an AT would be the perfect watch to go with it. With the blue dial, 38mm size, and date window at 6, I think it's one of the most handsome iterations of the AT yet. And between the anti-magnetic movement, display caseback, coaxial escapement, and stylish design, I think Omega is offering an absolutely incredible watch! Sadly, I was unable to go home for the holidays this year, so I have yet to see it in person myself. But when I do, I'll try to post some more photos....

I have to say that I'm also impressed with the packaging. There are a number of far more expensive brands that don't provide something as luxurious with their watches. Well done, Omega!

That's a great gift
Always had a soft spot for the understated appeal of the AT and I like blue. One thing that has always been a minor concern is the polsihed bezel seem to be a real scratch magnet, I wish they would offer a brushed finish or some harder material like rado....

The green was in consideration as well, a tough choice but I ultimately decided to go with the blue for him. A very nice boat you have too, hopefully we all have a great summer ahead of us if covid gets under control

I never got the chance to get my dad a gift. The year I started saving for a Rolex OP for him, was the year he went away. I wish all sons will get their fathers a nice piece.

I wouldn't worry too much about missed opportunities for expensive gifts. Watches are great, but there are far more important things in life! Regardless, I've been very fortunate to have great parents so I'm happy to splurge a bit more than usual for this...
Dad will appreciate the gesture . . .
. . . even more than the gift. The one time my Dad was moved by any gift was when I gave him a watch. I'll never forget the joyful look on his face at that moment. Months later he returned it, saying he never had an opportunity to wear a really good watch...

lol my mom was recently looking through some of the watch channels I follow on instagram
without ever mentioning it to her, she found some pictures of the Krayon Everywhere and really liked the look of it! She then discovered the price and gasped hahah
