I am afraid to make scratches when i want to swap a strap on my Omega.
So i do skip a strap change and then it forget.
But when it is old and dirty, the time wil come i must do.
I can chose to let do it at an AD of Omega.
Strap changing is not difficult, but scratches are easy fast to make.
I am thinking also to buy special easy lock pushpins, but my straps are not made for that. I miss the little gap on my straps.

My first successful strap change without any new scratches š Took the mostly unused Trilogy extra straps and changed the white Velcro to a black vintage leather. Changes the watch totally. What do you think? ...
I like it.

It focuses your attention on the watch. The lume shot is also very nice.
Thatās right!

The focus is now on the dial and bezel with the black strap blending in. Thanks.
Looks great !

It will be quite special feeling to get your birth year. Omega donāt make lower than 2000 pcs nowadays, except for the recent 50th anniversary moonshine gold.
Not so...

But what I donāt get it the gap in the lugs even thought itās an omega oem strap! It happened to me when I ordered the snoopy strap and seeing the gap in the spring bar drove Me nuts!
I think youāre absolutely correct...

Looking up Omega website, the Trilogy watches are 19mm while the Alaska Project shows 20mm. Thanks for the answer....Iām ok to accept this 1mm though, no need to get a new strap.
I like it!! Looks great.

Other than the gap may be a little too much from the strap to the case.

Iām using scotch tape wrap around lugs in this case and it helped. Usually like you, whenever Iām visiting AD, I ask them to help. Yes, the straps like ones use in Patek with slide pins are good.

Straps are always a very personal thing and my choice would be either a bracelet or a good quality black NATO. Have a great week. The Captain

. . . on bracelets. Same applies to Mk II, III, IV, and V, as well as the Flightmaster. Black dialed models work fine both ways, maybe even better on a strap. One particularly appealing combo is the rubberized racing strap tailored for the original rattra...
