... as you well say prices achieved lately put in an unreachable level now. Then the following favorite reference would be the CK2998 of which the lollipop variant makes my mouth watering. You know I got a rather battered example of the 2998 former issue ...

Sadly, prices have reached very high levels now, even for 2998's in good condition ... but these early Speedy's are just mesmerising. I am curious what Omega release this year to commemorate 60 years of the Speedmaster -- perhaps an ode to the 2915 from t... 

Now as stated, the prices are insane...

I have managed the series of four (quads) with a little bit of cheating substituting the 2915 with a 2998-1 with lollipop chrono second hand. Just as with the Three Musketeers, one has indeed to remember that they were actually four in the Broad Arrow fam...
