Omega

I am partial

I have managed the series of four (quads) with a little bit of cheating substituting the 2915 with a 2998-1 with lollipop chrono second hand.

Just as with the Three Musketeers, one has indeed to remember that they were actually four in the Broad Arrow family: The three from the -masters series plus the Ranchero. They all have wonderful amber colored radium indexes and hands.
As Blomman rightly stated there is also a beautiful Lollipop series of three to be made in the -masters series but only by substituting the 2915 with a 2998 1-3.
A deep black mat flawless finish is for me more desirable than a brown one. It is simply in better condition and closer to the original.

As for the price I wouldn't comment much. I feel it is only justified that those wonderful watches follow the steady evolution of their Rolex counterparts. After all Omega have at least as rich a heritage when it comes to chronographs. We are talking about the flagship of the make in their best and most original forms.
